TOURISM OBJECT IN PASURUAN

THE MAGNIFICENT OPEN AIR THEATRE "CANDRA WILWATIKTA"

It is a gigantic stage with a seating capacity of 15,000-20,000 spectators. This stage is erected at Pandaan at the foot of the imposing volcanic Mount Penanggungan.
The classical ballet dances based upon epic stories os Ramayana and Mahabarata and other folk ones are performed on the stage during full moon on the first and the third Saturday night from June up to November. This place is reachable by bus or other transport vehicles,   45 kilometers from Surabaya.
