FORCES LANDING MONUMENT
It was built to commemorate the first landing of the Allied Forces on
April 22, 1944 at 10.00 a.m (local time) in Hamadi beach. The distance from Jayapura town
is 4,5 kilometres, accessible by various types of vehicles.
